The survey covered an area due to be affected by the proposed N28 improvement scheme. A ringfort was discovered by the survey on a slight rise above the (very wet) valley bottom. Also, elements of a field system which may have been associated with it. The farm has been identified as having had a possible ecclesiastical connection, but it is unclear how that may have been manifest or how it related to the current structures.
