Previous geophysical survey had located some archaeological remains and a review of aerial photographic evidence identified further potential sites. The NRDO Project Archaeologist felt it worthwhile to commission a second round of geophysical survey.

Six separate areas were surveyed, spread down the corridor of the proposed route. Two ring-ditches were found and some evidence for former field systems.
